Foam Team Coordinator (3rd Shift)

About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for the efficient operation and performance of a small foam production team by effectively coordinating activities, managing priorities, and facilitating communication. We're looking for people who embody our values and demonstrate the desire to learn new skills. The ideal candidate should live in Manchester, CT or be comfortable with the commute.
What You Will Do

- Collaborate with team members to ensure production orders are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Provides operational support, helping with the logistics and ensuring that the team is equipped to complete their tasks.
- Facilitates communication between team members and ensures everyone is aligned on tasks and schedules.
- Monitor adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and loss elimination.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business needs.
- Manage resources (e.g., materials, equipment) effectively, demonstrating cost consciousness.
- Tracks the day-to-day progress of tasks and ensures that work is being completed on time and within expectations.
- Contribute to achieving team objectives.
- Work closely with other departments and stakeholders.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Ensures that resources (materials, tools, etc.) are available to the team.
- Coach, train and support the development of the team. (Beliefs and Behaviors, Op Centric Way of Working, operational and technical competence)
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Requires face to be clean shaved and the wear of a full-face respirator.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- 1-year supervisory experience.
- Experience working in a regulated industry such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving minor technical issues with machines or equipment.
- Process optimization experience or involvement in improving production workflows or efficiency.
- Experience with safety protocols and maintenance procedures for equipment, including calibration, inspections, and cleaning.
- Ability to lift to approximately 60 lbs and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during shift with appropriate rest and meal breaks.

$28.00/hourly rate + 10% shift differential benefits + annual incentive bonus
